Katie Maloney has no sympathy for Raquel Leviss amid mental health drama
Shutting that down. Katie Maloney blasted Raquel Leviss after a representative for her Vanderpump Rules co-star came out about mental health.
On Tuesday, May 2, a representative for Leviss, 28, took to her Instagram Story to offer a statement concerning their client’s social media platforms.
“This account was hacked, and it was reset with the support of Instagram. It is being controlled by Raquel’s team for the next month while she is undergoing treatment,” the statement read. “MAY is MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS month. Raquel has asked that all posts focus on increasing awareness for mental health organizations, activists, and removing the stigma associated with treatment.”
Maloney, 36, responded in the comments area when a Bravo fan account published the news. “Being so morally bankrupt to the point you cause this kind of chaos you better be equipped to deal with the backlash,” she wrote. “And if your [SIC] not.. then get the assistance you require, but do not seek sympathy in the process. That’s all there is to it. May’s mental health isn’t just for those who seek and destroy.
Our source has confirmed last month that the media persoality was at a mental health facility in the aftermath of her cheating scandal with Tom Sandoval.
“Before the relationship was discovered, Raquel and her family decided that she would enter a voluntary facility for mental health counseling,” this is the statement from Leviss’ rep, adding that the California native was in rehab but was not seeking help for substance addiction problems. “Raquel had planned to admit herself before the VPR reunion was taped on March 23. She was supposed to go before the reunion, but she opted to fulfill her filming obligation first. Bravo and production were aware of and supportive of her efforts to improve her mental health.”
Leviss’ personal life first made headlines in August 2022, when it was revealed that she had hooked up with Tom Schwartz after his divorce with Maloney. The former beauty pageant finalist stunned Vanderpump Rules viewers once more when her romance with Sandoval, 40, was revealed in March, resulting in the Missouri native’s divorce from Ariana Madix.
In reaction to the incident, Leviss apologized publicly to Madix, 37. “I want to apologize for my actions and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships. There is no excuse, “I am not a victim, and I must accept responsibility for my actions, and I deeply regret hurting Ariana,” she said on Instagram the same month.

Meanwhile, the TV personality’s co-stars questioned Leviss during her stay at a mental health facility. Leviss, according to Peter Madrigal and Dayna Kathan, was at a “spa” instead.
“Not a mental facility! It’s a Spa Resort,” the SUR manager, 38, in an April Instagram message on a Pump Rules fan account. Kathan, for her part, commented, “She’s at a spa” on another Bravo account.
Leviss, however, received public support from Sandoval when he addressed the speculation. “Raquel is in a mental facility,” the TomTom co-owner told TMZ on April 25. “Whether she decides to tell you where that is after the fact — that’s where Raquel is. No visitors, no friends, no family, no phone, no nothing.”
Sandoval stated that Madrigal and Kathan had “absolutely no idea” what was going on with Leviss at the time. He also stated that Leviss was “doing great” after making the decision to seek therapy on his own.
